In reading and checking pointing on HUC 939, page 9, I noticed that the Chinese rubric "no" may be proof of an editorial comment. Here are these three words in a modern version of the Hallel prayer:
It appears the last two words were transposed, and there is a note to change this, or to point out that they should not be read as written. What does the other rubric mean [?] Another "no' symbol is placed in further down the text:
Unfortunately, this word/phrase is correct in modern versions of the Hallel:
Although there are missing words near the end of the line. But the "no" is found in front of the first word. A seeming lack of consistency in the Chinese rubrics leads us with answer to their use that are only tentative at best. We have a text here with missing parts; perhaps someone came and made a note of it, but no corrections were made.
